The Midtronics PSC Power Supply Chargers are designed to offer a reliable and clean power source that can be used for charging and maintaining batteries’ state of charge. These chargers are specifically crafted to serve during service reflashing, complex maintenance tasks, or on the showroom floor. When in power supply mode, the PSC has the ability to transform a 120-volt AC line input into a consistent and virtually noise-free 13.4-volt DC output.
When operating as a battery charger, the PSC can supply a current up to the rated value, effectively charging any 12-volt lead-acid battery that has been depleted of voltage. After the charging is complete, the PSC can detect the battery’s condition and reduce the current output, ensuring that accessory loads are maintained, or any parasitic drain is offset.
