Shop Iron solar powered auto darkening welding helmets are stylish, effective pieces of welding equipment. They feature a 3.86″ x 2.17″ viewing area with ultra high performance filters to protect against UV and IR exposure. When an arc is struck, the viewing area switches from light to dark in 1/30,000th of a second, then returns back to normal when welding stops. The outside adjuster allows the user to variate the shades from DIN 9 to DIN 13.
